1. Who is responsible for your data

This website is operated by Hudson Borges Brito, a sole proprietor providing software architecture consulting services.

2. What data we collect and why

We collect personal data only when you submit the contact form on this site. The fields collected are:

• Name — to address you personally in our reply
• Email address — to respond to your inquiry
• Company (optional) — to understand your context
• Message — to understand your inquiry

We do not collect data through analytics tools, tracking pixels, cookies, or any other passive means. No data is collected from visitors who do not submit the contact form.

3. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the legal basis for processing your contact form data is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — specifically, to respond to a business inquiry you have initiated. Without this data, we cannot reply to your message.

4. How your data is used

Your data is used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not use it for marketing, profiling, or any purpose other than the direct communication you initiated.

5. Third parties who receive your data

When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, company, and message are transmitted to Resend (resend.com), an email delivery service, in order to deliver your message to our inbox. Resend acts as a data processor on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement.

No other third parties receive your personal data. This site does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking service.

This site previously loaded fonts from Google Fonts (Google LLC, USA). Fonts are now served directly from this site and no request is made to Google.

6. Data retention

Your contact details are retained in our email inbox for as long as necessary to conduct any follow-up business communication, and no longer than 3 years after last contact. We do not store your data in any database or CRM.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
• Erasure — request deletion of your data
• Portability — request your data in a portable format
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest
• Restriction — request that we restrict processing of your data

8. Right to lodge a complaint (EEA residents)

9. Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted securely to Resend's API. We do not store your personal data in any database or third-party CRM.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to how we handle your data, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date at the top.
